Why 52? Well, there are 52 weeks in a year. 🗓

This article idea sparked out of the response from hearing too many of you say "Joel, I just don't know what to post about".

Another common one is:

I don't have the time OR I don't have the creativity

So after hearing those objections, I wanted to put together a list of one 52 content prompts, one for each week of the year, to help those that are more strapped for time and creative juices.

So now after you read this article, the only real excuse for not being able to post once per week is living somewhere without the internet (which is getting increasingly difficult these days - as you can even get service on Mt. Everest).

So here's to no more blank pages. No more excuses. And a new chapter for sharing your thoughts online.

Here’s your free guide to posting once a week for an entire year:

  1. Write a thank you or celebration post to someone you know

  2. Talk about your personal values/convictions

  3. Write a list of personal goals

  4. Ask: what's the one thing that would make your life easier?

  5. Share a quote

  6. Re-share a post you found interesting

  7. Write a list of helpful resources

  8. Share a photo

  9. Write a brief post about something you like/dislike on a social platform

  10. Re-share an educational video from someone you like to learn from

  11. Write a list of tips on something you know

  12. Ask a question

  13. Share a mind-blowing statistic/fact

  14. Write about something you learned recently

  15. 2-3 paragraph story post on your college experience

  16. Give a book recommendation

  17. Ask industry professionals for a tip on something you need

  18. Write a 3-point article for students to do well in school

  19. Write an encouraging message to your past self

  20. Share about how you've been mentored & how it's impacted/grown you

  21. Interview someone (like a prof) & share the key take-aways/recording

  22. Create a document with tips to help someone (use Canva/word, etc.)

  23. Summarize trending news & add your own conclusions for future impact

  24. Be funny (a joke, a meme)

  25. Share a life hack

  26. Share who you’re inspired by and what you do differently in light of them

  27. Talk about your daily routine

  28. Explain your go-to meal and why it helps you crush the day

  29. Share a childhood memory and how it impacted you

  30. Share your biggest victory this month

  31. Give some aspirational advice

  32. Share a failure story with a lesson you learned

  33. Give a follow recommendation

  34. Suggest a tool/product to make life easier

  35. Share something you've made

  36. Talk about your favourite movie and share a few lines

  37. Write about what you’re most proud of in life

  38. Share about how you overcame a bad habit

  39. Encourage someone

  40. Create a compilation of resources (articles, videos, etc)

  41. Ask a “would you rather...” question

  42. Ask one of your parents/mentors for their best advice and share it

  43. Show some BTS of your process

  44. Talk about the hardest thing you’ve ever done

  45. Ask your audience for tips/hacks in your industry

  46. Share about your favourite non-profit/cause

  47. Create an infographic based on the current stats in your industry (use Canva)

  48. Write a letter an open letter to people who have helped you in life

  49. Give an idea for an emoji that doesn’t exist yet

  50. Share some of the things you hope to accomplish before you die

  51. Talk about your favourite thing (pet, friend, plant, etc.)

  52. Share your best business ideas

Don’t let “I don’t have any ideas” become your excuse for not showing up.
